ABK loads first capesize shipment

East Kalimantan coal miner PT. Anugerah Bara Kaltim (ABK) said on Thursday that for the first time it had started loading coal on Capesize vessel on Wednesday.

ABK General Manager Martusin Yapriadi told Petromindo.Com that the coal would take 6 days to load. The MV Vega III will carry 130,000 tonnes of coal to South Korean power plant KOSEP.

Yapriadi said that ABK would also plan to ship 65,000 tonnes of coal to Tanjung Jati B power plant in Jepara, Central Java, as part of 300,000 tonnes coal supply contract. He said ABK shipped 62,000 tonnes of coal to Tanjung Jati B on June.(denny)
