ABK reports Q3 coal production

East Kalimantan miner PT Anugerah Bara Kaltim (ABK) produced 754,480 tons with sales reaching 843,760 tons of coal in the third quarter of this year, a company official said.

The company's General Manager Martusin Yapriadi told Petromindo.Com Thursday that about 75 percent of sales was export to South Korea and Taiwan and the remainder to local market.

?ABK?s cumulative output as of September this year reached 2.24 million tons,? Martusin said.

ABK?s ranged coal between 5.900 kcal/kg to 6.300 kcal/kg. The company has targeted to produce 3 million tons of coal this year.

Last year ABK produced 2.8 million tons of coal. (denny)
