East Kalimantan coal miner PT Anugerah Bara Kaltim (ABK) is still looking for spot buyers for this year?s second quarter output, a source told Petromindo.com Friday.

?We still have space for new buyers for Q2 2013,? the source said.

The company is targeting to produce around 5-5.5 million tons this year, lower compared to last year?s total production of 6.5 million tons amid the lingering weak global coal market, according to the source.

ABK has mineable reserves of 65 million tons with the majority of the products branded as Loa Jana A and Loa Jana B Coal which have CV between 4900-5300 (NAR) with sulfur of 0.1-0.2%.

ABK covering 4,050 hectares in Kutai Kartanegara regency produced about 5.5 million tons of coal last year and the majority of it was exported to China, Taiwan, India and Japan.
