ABP maintains coal output target of 3m tons

Coal mining company PT Alamjaya Bara Pratama (ABP) estimated that coal production in the first semester of this year to reach 1.34 million tons, retaining its full-year output target of 3 million tons.

In the first quarter, ABP, an IUP holder in Kutai Kertanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, produced 640,000 tons of coal. Output in the second quarter period ending June is estimated at 700,000 tons.

"The full year production target is still at 3 million tons according to the initial plan," ABP's Director Christianto Setyo said to Petromindo.com on Monday.

For third quarter, Christianto said that the company will produce 280,000 tons per month.
