Aceh fertilizer firms start receiving gas

Two fertilizer firms in Aceh: PT Asean Aceh Fertilizer, and PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda have started to receive natural gas from PT Arun to allow them to resume production after around 6 months of suspension, according to Bisnis Indonesia daily in its Wednesday report.
The two fertilizer firms previously had to stop production because they could not obtain natural gas from PT Arun, which had to suspend operation following the temporary closure of ExxonMobil Indonesia due to security concern in the troubled province.
But ExxonMobil resumed operation recently, allowing Arun to also resume natural gas production.(*)
