Aceh wants to manage Pase Block

A company owned by the Aceh provincial government has expressed interest to manage the Pase oil and gas block in East Aceh, said A. Edi Hermantoro, Director for Oil and Gas Upstream Management at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources..

Edi told Petromindo.com on Monday that Triangle Pase Inc., which acquired the block from ExxonMobil in June of 2009, has officially returned the contract over the block in March of this year after it expired in February.

?Yes, one of those expressing interest is the (Aceh) regional-owned company,? he said.
