ACL appoints Aqeel Virk as vice president

Canadian firm ACL International Ltd. announced on Wednesday the appointment of existing director Aqeel Virk as Vice President of Commercial and Business Development. In his capacity as a director of ACL, Mr. Virk has been essential to ACL?s growing operations and is responsible for developing a strong presence for ACL within Indonesia.
"With his legal background and experience in business development, Mr. Virk is a valuable addition to ACL?s management team" said Mo Fazil, Chairman and CEO of ACL.
ACL?s other Indonesian oil and gas assets include (a) 50 percent of Langsa TAC, an offshore field with gross production of 884 bopd; and (b) 38.25 percent in South Block A PSC (SBA), an onshore block located in the North Sumatra Basin, which is one of the most productive hydrocarbon regions in Indonesia with over 80 known oil and gas fields.
