Adani secures coal exploration right in South Sumatra

Adani Global, a unit of Indian conglomerate Adani Group has secured right to explore for coal in Musi Banyuasin regency in South Sumatra.
A company source told Petromindo.Com that the company has been granted right to explore for coal in a 14,000 hectares area, with potential to host a significant amount of low rank coal deposit.
The official also said that company?s coal mine in Bunyu island, East Kalimantan has started production and would commence shipping to India this month. The official did not give further detail.(denny)
