Listed energy firm PT Adaro Energy Tbk said on Thursday that it would revise downward its 2010 coal output from its South Kalimantan coal mine PT Adaro Indonesia to 42-43 million tons from 45 million tons due to the unusual and unseasonably bad weather condition.

?Production in third quarter tends to be above average, however due to the unusual and unseasonably bad weather, production decreased in 3Q10 to 10.22 million tons, which was lower than the 11.36 million tons of 1Q10 and the 10.26 million tons of 2Q10,? the company said.

Production in the January-September period reached 31.84 million tons, higher 12 percent compared to the same period of last year. (denny)
