Adaro Energy update: Maritim Barito Perkasa, Orchard Maritime ? Barging

Orchard Maritime Logistics Ltd, PT Maritim Barito Perkasa (MBP) and PT Harapan Bahtera Internusa (HBI) (95% - 100% - 100%)
In the first half of 2010, the barging and shiploading companies transported a combined tonnage of 5.83 Mt and loaded 6.62 Mt. This translates to a tonnage increase over the same period last year of 33% for coal transportation and 43% for shiploading.

- MBP focuses on services for Adaro Indonesia
- MBP owns 16 barges, 18 tugboats and three self propelled barges (SPG), as well as 4 floating cranes
- As part of Adaro Energy?s cost reduction initiatives, three SPGs each with a 12,000 tonnes capacity were in operation in 2009, a fourth SPG will be delivered in 2010 with a capacity of 15,000dwt.
- HBI handles non Adaro business
