Capacity expansion at the Kelanis River Terminal
We completed the first stage of Kelanis River Terminal expansion in 3Q13, increasing crushing capacity to 66 Mt per year. We are preparing a detailed plan for the second upgrade which will bring total capacity to 70 Mt per year, a 27% increase from the initial capacity of 55 Mt. We spent US$1.1 million during 3Q13, which brought total spending to US$46.66 million. We completed the upgrade of Hopper 7, raising the total hopper capacity 9,000 tonnes per hour from 7,500 tonnes per hour, or up to 65 million tonnes per year from 60 million tonnes per year.
