"Adaro has not yet maximally restore environment in Tabalong"

Coal mining company PT Adaro Indonesia has been criticized for not doing its utmost to reclaim its coal mine in the Tabalong regency, South Kalimantan.
Cuncilor Djoko Sudoyo, head of the Commission D at the Tabalong regency council, recently said that Arutmin had conducted reclamation program but he said the company had yet to maximally restore the environment that had been damaged by its mining operation, local Kapos daily reported. .
The councilor also said Adaro must limit its production to 30 ton per day
The company may increase its output to 50 tons per day, if a railway has been built in the area to transport its coal output, he said.
He also called on the company to help not only the people living around its coal mine but also all people in Tabalong. (*)
