Adaro hits record coal production in Q3

South Kalimantan based coalminer PT Adaro Indonesia has recorded a significant level of production in the third quarter of 2005, a company official said Tuesday.
“Despite rainfalls hit our coal mine during the third quarter, Adaro has achieved a record coal production of 7.287 million tons or above the target of 6.3 million tons,” Adaro administration manager Priyadi told Petromindo.Com.
According to Priyadi, Adaro produced around 6.324 million tons of coal in the same quarter last year. Meanwhile, the company’s coal production only reached 5.936 million tons in the second quarter of 2005.
Priyadi added that Adaro planned to produce around 25-26 million tons of coal this year, higher from last year's output of 24.33 million tons. (dino)
