Adaro inaugurates IMPT, new FTU

IDX-listed PT Adaro Energy Tbk said in its quarterly report obtained Friday that it has inaugurated PT Indonesia Multi-Purpose Terminal (IMPT) and new Floating Transfer Unit (FTU) on October 8 of this year.
IMPT is an offshore port management and operator at the Taboneo Anchorage, the open-sea anchorage at the mouth of Barito River in South Kalimantan.
The new FTU has a shiploading capacity of 60,000 tons per day, which will increase the capacity and improve the productivity of Adaro?s ship-loading activities at Taboneo. The FTU will enable Adaro to load a Capesize vessel in 2.5 days.
