Adaro Energy and state electricity company PLN are expected to immediately settle negotiations on power purchase agreement (PPA) for electricity generated by power plant to be built by Adaro?s subsidiary Adaro Power.
?We are still discussing the technical issues (of the power plant), and we hope to be able to soon settle the power purchase agreement,? Adaro Power?s chief business development officer Adrian Lembong told Petromindo in Jakarta recently.
At present, Adaro Power and South Korean company East West Power (EWP) are jointly building a power plant with 2x100 MW capacity in South Kalimantan, expecting to spend about US$400 million for construction and to start its commercial operation in 2016.
