Adaro Power plans solar power project in Kalimantan

Independent power producer PT Adaro Power, a subsidiary of IDX-listed coal giant PT Adaro Energy Tbk, plans to develop a 50 MW solar power plant project in Kalimantan, with feasibility study expected to be concluded early next year.
?The feasibility study is targeted to be concluded within the next 2-3 months,? said Vice President Director of Adaro Power, Dharma Djojonegoro told Petromindo.com on Wednesday.
He said that there?s possibility for the company to partner with other firm in the planned project, which will be located near Adaro Energy?s mining sites.
Adaro Power is currently developing a 2 MW solar power plant in Kelanis, South Kalimantan Province to produce electricity for internal use of the group. The project is expected to be completed end of this year.
