South Kalimantan-based coal producer PT Adaro Indonesia reported Friday a marginal decline in its coal output in the second quarter of 2005 as rains hampered its mining operation.
Adaro?s administration manager Priyadi told Petromindo.Com that the company produced 5.936 million tons in the quarter, slightly down compared to 5.991 million tons in the first quarter of the year.
?Adaro is confident to increase its output to 6.3 million tons in the third quarter. The good weather is arriving,? Priyadi added.
Adaro plans to produce between 25 and 26 million tons of coal this year, higher from 24.330 million tons last year. (dino)
