Adaro?s net profit soars on higher revenue

IDX-listed coal miner PT Adaro Energy Tbk reported on Friday its 9-month 2009 net profit after tax soared more than five folds to Rp 3.5 trillion (US$ = Rp. 9,550) or Rp.109.9 per share from Rp. 686 billion or Rp 29.5 per share in the same period a year ago.
The steep increase in profit was spurred by higher revenue of Rp.20 trillion from Rp12.4 trillion a year ago.
Adaro Energy?s subsidiary PT Adaro Indonesia runs the country?s single open pit coal mine in South Kalimantan. (alex)
