Despite heavy rain South Kalimantan, coal-mining firm PT Adaro Indonesia said that it could still run a normal production level of 60,000 tons per day.
?Although (heavy) rain hits South Kalimantan, it does not affect Adaro production. This is because we have hardened the roads around our sites so that it no longer creates problem during raining season,? company administration manager Priyadi told Petromindo.com Monday.
Priyadi was optimistic that the company could meet its fourth quarter coal output target of 5.2 million tons.
Until the third quarter of this year, Adaro, the country?s largest coal producer, has produced 13 million tons.
