Adaro sees DMO quota this year at 25%

IDX-listed coal giant PT Adaro Energy Tbk expects its domestic market obligation (or DMO) this year to be about 25-27 percent of output.

?This year, we expect our DMO to be around 25-27 percent,? said President of Adaro Energy Garibaldi Tohir recently.

The government through its DMO policy determines annually the output of coal miners that must be allocated to help meet domestic market demand.

Garibaldi said that the company usually exceed its DMO quota. He reiterated that the company?s coal production this year is estimated to reach 50 million to 52 million tons.
