Adaro, Shell team up to build fuel storage

IDX-listed coal miner PT. Adaro Energy said that its coal terminal unit PT.Indonesia Bulk Terminal is teaming up with Royal Dutch/Shell to build a fuel storage at IBT?s Pulau Laut terminal in South Kalimantan.

The company said in a presentation released Friday that the storage, which is currently under construction, will have capacity to store 60,000 kiloliters of fuel.

According to the company, the storage is built to ensure fuel supply for Adaro?s operations.

IBT operates a coal terminal, which mainly serves transshipment for its sister company coal miner PT.Adaro Indonesia, with throughput capacity of 12MTPA.(denny)
