Adaro to introduce more new coal brand

South Kalimantan coal miner PT Adaro Indonesia, a coal unit of IDX-listed coal mining group PT Adaro Energy, is preparing to introduce a new brand of Envirocoal, named E4700, in 2013, the parent company has recently said.

The product is a stand alone, non-blended product mined and sourced from northern area of the Tutupan pit, Adaro said.

At present, the company has three products, namely E-5000 (Tutupan Coal), E-4000 (Wara Coal) and E-4500, a new brand, which is a blend of E-5000 and E-4000 coal.

During 2012, Adaro sold 1.95 million tons of E-4500 to two customers in South Korea and Indonesia.
