Adaro to ramp up 2010 coal production

South Kalimantan coal mining giant PT Adaro Indonesia, which is a unit of IDX-listed PT Adaro Energy TBk said it would ramp up 2010 coal production to 45 million tonnes.
General Manager Priyadi told Petromindo.Com that the Company produced 40.59 million tonnes in 2009.
Priyadi said almost all of 2010 coal production has been contracted.
He also said that the Company?s production capacity has now reached slightly more than 50 MTPA now that transportation capacity at Barito Channel has been significantly improved after being dredged.
Adaro sells 70 percent of its coal to overseas market. (alex)
