Adhi Karya secures Rp 902b contracts to build three power plants

The three coal-fired power plants, each with a capacity of 2 x 7 megawatt, include PLTU Tembilahan in Indragiri Hilir, Riau with a contract of Rp 277.37 billion; PLTU Sintang in Sanggau, West Kalimantan with a contract of Rp 357 billion and PLTU Tanjung Selor in East Kalimantan, with a contract of Rp 268.39 billion.
The company?s corporate secretary Kurnadi Gularso said that unlike in previous years, this year PT Adhi Karya would focus more on EPC activities.
He said that the company expected total contracts this year would rise about 20 percent from Rp 8.1 trillion last year. In 2010, the infrastructure development contributed Rp 3.67 trillion or about 45 percent to the company?s total revenues, while EPC activities contributed Rp 2.57 trillion or 31.5 percent and building construction provided Rp 1.9 trillion or 23.35 percent.(*)
