Adhi Karya to build Aneka Tambang?s port

Rp3.4t total new contracts in Q1

Publicly listed construction and engineering company PT Adhi Karya Tbk booked Rp 3.4 trillion in new contracts during the first four months of this year, Investor Daily reported Saturday.

The new contracts included a small port worth Rp 241.14 billion owned by Aneka Tambang, toll road worth Rp 253 billion owned by PT Margabumi Adhikarya and a pier project worth Rp 325 billion.

In addition, Adhi Karya also secured a new contract to construct a coal-fired power plant worth Rp 277.75 billion. The power plant with a capacity of 2 x 2 megawatt (MW) is owned by the director general of electricity of the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry.

Up to know, the company?s total contracts reached Rp 23.9 trillion which comprised of Rp 13.4 trillion in new contracts and the remainders are carry-over contracts .

The company expects its net profits to increase 11.2 percent this year to Rp 204.6 billion from Rp 182 billion last year. Total revenues are projected to increase by 34.4 percent to Rp 9.41 trillion from Rp 7 trillion.This year, the company will continue to focus on five business lines including infrastructure, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), property and real estate.

Meanwhile, Adhikarya will distribute Rp 54.46 billion, about 30 percent of its net profits last year as dividends or Rp 30.33 per share.(*)
