Adimitra, Flame in coal supply deal

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Adimitra Baratama Nusantara said it had secured 3.8 million tonnes coal supply contract with Switzerland trading firm Flame SA.

Adimitra Managing Director Heddy Soerijadji told Petromindo.Com that the volume will be supply for about four years with first shipment slated to start in September this year.

Another contract is also being negotiated with another Swiss firm, he said, without giving name.

Adimitra has appointed IDX-listed mining contractor PT Petrosea to conduct mining works with first year target of 2 million tonnes, ramping up to 3MTPA in the following years. Petrosea, which is appointed to replace previous mining contractor, will start activities in September.

The company?s has JORC-compliant reserves of 37 MT with resources of more than 100 MT with CV of 5,800-6,300Kcal/kg (ADB).(denny)
