Adimitra gets new coal buyers

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Adimitra Baratama Nusantara (ABN) has bagged new buyers after it stopped its 2-year coal supply deal with energy trading firm Vitol Asia Pte Ltd, an industry source told Petromindo.Com
New buyers of ABN coal include international trading firm Marcuria Energy Group and PT Pinang Export Indonesia, Indonesia?s trading unit of Noble, the source said, but did not give further details.
ABN has another main buyer, Switzerland-based trading firm Flame SA. The company has a 3-year coal supply contract with volume of 3.8 million tons starting 2009 until the end of 2012. There is no update information regarding this contract.
ABN expects to produce about around 4.5-5 million tons of coal this year, compared to last year?s total output of 4.4 million tons.
