Adimitra to start coal production in August

East Kalimantan coal miner PT.Adimitra Baratama Nusantara will start production from its mine August 2008 with initial output of 300,000 tonnes.
Managing Director Heddy Soerijadji told Petromindo.Com that production will be increased to 1 million tones in 2009 and 3 MTPA in the following years.
Heddy said all of initial output will be sold to trading firm Glencore AG.
The company is currently constructing 5-km haul road and 600,000-tonnes stockpile. Coal will be barged to anchorage in Muara Jawa.
The company has a KP license which covers an area of 3,000 hectares in Kutai Kartanegara regency. The mine will produce coal with CV range of 5,800-6,300Kcal/kg. (denny)
