AG investigates 13 graft cases in Pertamina

The Attorney General's Office is currently investigating against 13 graft cases in state oil and gas firm Pertamina, according to deputy attorney general Yushar Yahya.
Yushar said that the 13 cases were among 159 graft cases submitted by Pertamina to the Attorney General's Office. And the 13 cases were selected following an intensive investigation by prosecutor Yusuf Kartanegara.
Yushar, however, refused to provide further details. When asked further if the 13 cases also include those involving graft allegation in the Balongan refinery project, Yushar did not answer.
The investigation against the 13 cases is a follow-up to separate hearings between the House of Representatives' Commission VIII with the Attorney General Marzuki Darusman, Minister of Mines and Energy Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and former mines and energy minister Ginandjar Kartasasmita. (*)
