Thai coal trader Asia Green Energy (AGE) expects to complete the purchase of an Indonesian coal mine in the first half of this year, the Bangkok Post reported.

Managing director Panom Kuansataporn said AGE is negotiating with "two or three" mines in the country, and a deal for one of them should be concluded by June 30.

He declined to give details of the talks.

"Our target is 10 million tonnes in total coal reserves," said Panom. (*)
