AGE to sell Indonesian coal to China

Thailand-based coal trader, Asia Green Energy Public Co, Ltd (AGE) unveiled plans to sell up to 1.5 million tons of coal to China, India, Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam this year with most of the coal would come from Indonesia.

The company said in its company profile distributed at the Coaltrans Asia conference that the plan was part of the company?s five year plan to sell up to 5 million tons of coal to China and other export markets.

?In year 2011, AGE exported almost one million ton of Indonesian coal to China,? the company said, adding that it has both long-term contracts with new buyers.

It said that the company?s Chinese clients range from operators of power plants to steel mills and paper factories.
