PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining, and processing at the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. PTAR is headquartered in Jakarta and employs over 3,000 workers as of 2024, with more than 99% being Indonesian citizens and over 70% recruited locally. Committed to safe, sustainable operations, PTAR prioritises minimising environmental impact while delivering long-term benefits to local stakeholders.

The Martabe Gold Mine, located in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, operates across 646.08 hectares as of December 2024. Since production began on 24 July 2012, the mine has processed over 6 million tonnes of ore annually, producing more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.

The Martabe Gold Mine operates under a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government. Initially spanning 6,560 km² in 1997, the concession area has been refined to 130,252 hectares (1,303 km²), encompassing South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies.

As of June 2024, the mine’s mineral resources were estimated at 6.1 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver, while ore reserves were calculated at 3.2 million ounces of gold and 32 million ounces of silver.

PTAR hereby invites a single, qualified and highly experienced contractor to participate in a tender for Supply Explosive and Blasting Services. The required scope of services includes, but is not limited to, the following:

General Requirement

1.

The Scope of Work primarily covers the following:

a.  Provision of Explosives and Blasting Services – encompassing both Open Pit and Underground operations.

b.  Service Coverage – including, but not limited to: explosives supply, blasting execution, handling and transportation, blast design, safety management, emergency preparedness, as well as continuous improvement initiatives in cost efficiency, safety, environmental performance, explosives and magazine permitting, and technology advancement.

c.  c. Regulatory Compliance – Contractors are required to comply with all applicable Indonesian Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Environmental, and Mining Safety regulations. This includes the effective implementation of Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and strict adherence to all relevant Indonesian laws and permitting requirements

Key Contractor Responsibilities

a.  aContractors are required to provide comprehensive blasting services, ensure full compliance with Indonesian regulations, and maintain the minimum stock levels as specified. Detailed technical specifications will be outlined in the tender documents.

Interested contractors must have a proven track record of delivering similar services in mining operations for a minimum of five (5) years, preferably within the gold mining sector.
