AGM acquires dredger

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk announced Thursday that its subsidiary PT Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM) has acquired a dredger worth Rp 16 billion from affiliated firm PT Baramulti Sugih Sentosa (BSS).
The company said in a statement that the dredger had been previously leased out by BSS to AGM.
AGM, which owns mines in South Kalimantan, earlier in September acquired eight tugboats, 12 barges, and five units of tug boat engine from a company called PT Armada Pelayaran Rakyat Indonesia in a bid to improve efficiency in coal transportation.
