AGO names new suspect in Pertamina Trans Kontinental graft case

The Junior Attorney for Special Crimes at the Attorney General?s Office (AGO) has named a new suspect in a graft case relating to the purchase of AHTS vessels called Transko Andalas and Transko Celebes by PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental during the period of 2012-2014, Antara reported on Wednesday.
The new suspect is Aria Odman bin Idris, President Director of PT Vries Maritime Shipyard, said AGO Spokesman M. Rum on Tuesday. Aria will be detained for the next 20 days by the AGO for questioning.
The AGO has previously named Suherimanto, former president director of PTI, a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, as a suspect in the corruption case.
Antara said that the cost for the purchase of the two AHTS vessels had been allegedly marked up causing the state to suffer up to Rp 35 billion in losses. (*)
