IDX-listed coal trader PT Akbar Indo Makmur Stimec Tbk said on Tuesday it targets to increase its trading volume next year with focus on local buyers.
President Commissioner Hartadi Angkosubroto did not specify the amount of coal it targets to sell for next year, only saying it is higher than this year?s target of 384,000 tons.
The firm will focus on selling its coal to domestic power plants since its coal mostly has calorific value of 4000 kcal/kg GAR.
?We can?t unveil the names of the buyers for the moment,? he said after the firms? shareholders meeting.
He said the firm will remain focused on coal trading and has no interest to have coal mines or sell other types of commodity.
