AKR Coal to start production in Nov.

Coal and mineral firm PT Panca Synergy Harmony said that its Central Kalimantan coal miner PT Anugerah Karya Raya (AKR Coal) plans to start production in November this year, a company official said.
AKR Coal expects to produce around 50,000 per month in the first production phase and ramps up to 1-2 million ton per annum in 2011, Head of Business Development of PT Panca Synergy Harmony, Wahyudi told Petromindo.Com on Wednesday.
AKR Coal is a joint venture firm between IDX-listed fuel distributor and logistics firm AKR Corporindo Tbk with a 78 percent stake and the remaining held by PT Panca Synergy Harmony, he said.
AKR Coal has calorific value at 5,600-6,000 kcal/kg and its coal mine is located in Muara Teweh regency. (denny)
