AKR fuel products sale triples

JSX-listed firm AKR Corporindo reported on Thursday that its 6 months petroleum products sales increased by almost 300 percent to 242,000 kiloliters from 83,200 kiloliters a year earlier.
The company said sales of products, which included HSD, IDO and fuel oil, increased to Rp.1.084 trillion (US$=Rp.9,300) from Rp.403 billion a year earlier.
AKR distributes petroleum products, imported from Singapore, to industrial customers in Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan.
The company said it was trying to further increase sales to industrial, mining and plantation customers and is currently increasing store capacities in major cities.(alex)
