IDX-listed AKR Corporindo Tbk recently stated they are planning to build a coal terminal at Timbau Port Central Kalimantan.

?The design of the port should be complete in the next two months, giving clear funding and capacity details," company president director Haryanto Adikoesoemo said to Petromindo.com this Tuesday.

Haryanto expected to complete the construction next year to support its future operation, having five coal concessions in North Barito, Central Kalimantan.

As the bearish coal condition forced the company to delay its production, it's currently indulging in coal trading, selling 83,800 tons of coal in the first quarter.

?Around 50,000 tons are acquired from national traders," Head of Investor Relation & Corporate Planning Heri Akhyar said.
