AKR to commission Jakarta tank terminal

IDX-listed firm PT AKR Corporindo Tbk said its tank terminal unit PT Jakarta Tank Terminal (JTT) is expected to be commissioned this month.
The company revealed in a presentation filed with the IDX that the tank, which is located in Jakarta port of Tanjung Priok will have storage capacity of 250,000 kiloliters in the first phase with addition of another 200,000 kls in the second phase.
AKR has 51 percent stake in JTT with Dutch storage firm Royal Vopak has the remaining balance.
The company said the terminal is equipped with submarine pipeline and two jetties that can handle tankers with 65,000 DWT plus 8,000 DWT.(alex)
