AKT's production higher than last year

Central Kalimantan coking coal producer PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup (AKT) is expecting to produce only around 4 million from initial target of 5 million tons in this year, the company's official told Petromindo.Com.

As of November this year, AKT has produced around 3.5 million tons of coking coal. The figure has passed last year's total output of 3.3 million tons, the source who declined to be named said.

All the coal is coming from AKT's Kohong block. As of Sept 2012, the block has proven reserve of 50.2 million tons.

AKT's other coal block called Telakon has proven reserve of 11.6 million tons but is not yet in production stage.
