Alfa Energi sees flat output next year

Coal mining company PT Alfa Energi said that production at its coal concession in Samarinda, East Kalimantan Province, next year to be the same as the 300,000 tons estimate for this year.

?The target for next year is the same as this year?s estimate,? Aris Munandar, Director of Alfa Energi told Petromindo.com on Wednesday, adding that the output has been absorbed by trading firm mostly export to South Korea.

Alfa Energi?s 2,000-ha concession produces coal with calorific value of 4,300 kcal/kg GAR. In addition to production activity, the company also is carrying out exploration activity. Based on the previous JORC, the concession has about 10 million tons of reserves.
