Alfa Trans in coal transportation deal with MBSS

Integrated coal transport & logistics services company PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati (MBSS) and PT Alfa Trans Raya has entered into a contract of affreightment (CoA) for transporting coal with minimum amount of 2.2 million tonnes per annum from Bunati river port to Satui Anchorage, South Kalimantan.
The deal is effective from July 1, 2011 until June 30, 2012.
In April, PT Indika Energy Tbk, through its wholly owned subsidiary, PT Indika Energy Infrastructure has acquired 51 % stake in MBSS for US$167.78 million. MBSS is one of Indonesia?s largest coal logistics providers with fleet of tugs and barges and transshipment facilities. (denny)
