All oil contractors in Indonesia have resumed their normal operation after receiving a letter from state oil and gas company Pertamina a few days ago which urged them to operate as usual despite threats from radical Moslem groups, according to the spokesperson of Pertamina?s production sharing management directorate, L. Harijanto.

But, permission would be given to expatriate staff and workers not to go to work these days considering the rising tension in the country due to the U.S-led strikes against Afghanistan, Harijanto told Petromindo.com. (godang)
