Altura allocates US$ 10 million capex for Tabalong coal project

ASX-listed firm Altura Mining said that the company would allocate about US$ 10 million for capital expenditure in Tabalong Coal Project to support production plan during the period of Q42012/Q12013.

James Brown, Altura Mining Managing Director, said that such a low capital expenditure was because the mining is simple open pit operation with no washing needed.

Besides, for hauling of product from mining area to river port with distance of 70 to 110 kilometers will use third party road infrastructure.
