Altura to ramp up output

ASX-listed firm Altura Mining Limited said that it plans to increase production from its Delta coal mine in Indonesia's East Kalimantan province to 2 million tons per year in 2014 without the need for additional capital.
The company in the presentation material said on Thursday that it currently produces 1.45Mtpa of highly marketable thermal coal.
It said Delta owns and operates all coal supply chain processes from mine to barge with operating cash cost of US$36.92/ton FOB barge.
The concession has JORC coal resources estimate of 61.4 million tons with reserves estimate of 12.5 million tons.
