Saturday, September 22 2007 - 12:18 AM WIB
Both contracts, totalling US$3.3 million, were awarded by main contractor PT Meindo Elang Indah (MEINDO), and involve the design of offsites piping, telecommunications cable and tie-in work for the north and south parts of the field.
As design contractor, ABI will be responsible for the overall performance of detailed engineering work, including pre-engineering, survey, detailed engineering and final documentation. The engineering phase for both projects will be completed in June 2008.
The Tunu field is located partially onshore in swamp areas and partially offshore in shallow waters. Since 2003, the Tunu field has been operated at medium pressure at wellhead pressures of 25-35 barg. The Tunu Phase 11 development project is intended to provide low-pressure systems to allow continued production in the face of ongoing reservoir depletion.(alex)
