Amerada Hess Indonesia crude production up in 2001

US based oil firm Amerada Hess recorded net crude production of 6,000 barrels per day (BPD) in the fourth quarter of 2001, compared to previous year?s corresponding production of 5,000 BPD.

Meanwhile, the company said that average crude production for 2001, was 6,000 BPD, significantly increased from previous year?s average production of 4,000 BPD.

In Indonesia, Amerada Hess has working interest in several contract areas, namely Jabung, Lematang and Jambi Merang in Sumatra, Pagatan in Kalimantan, and Pangkah in East Java. (alex)
