Amerada Hess Indonesian crude production down in Q2 2002

US oil and gas company Amerada Hess on Wednesday reported a sharp drop in Indonesian net crude production to 3,000 barrels per day during the second quarter of 2002, from 6,000 BPD during the previous quarter.

The company did not say the cause of production decline.

Amerada Hess has 30 percent of non-operating interest in Jabung PSC onshore South Sumatra, operating Lematang PSC in South Sumatra and Pangkah PSC in Esat Java, and has 25 ercent non-operating interst in Jambi-Merang JOB onshore South Sumatra. (alex)
