Amien Sunaryadi to be named new chairman of SKKMigas

Amien Sunaryadi, a World Bank executive, is expected to be installed as the new chairman of the upstream oil and gas authority SKKMigas today (Wednesday), a source told Petromindo.com.
As reported by this portal on Tuesday, quoting sources, President Joko Widodo, has issued a decree to appoint the new chairman of SKKMigas.
The sources said Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said will unveil the name of the new SKKMigas chairman Wednesday.
Two names were tipped to become the new chairman of SKK Migas, namely Aussie B. Gautama, the current Planning Deputy of SKK Migas, and Amien Sunaryadi. The position will most likely go to Amien, according to the sources.
Amien graduated from the State Accounting College (STAN) and got a master degree on accounting from College of Business Administration, Georgia State University, Atlanta. He once served as deputy head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and a sub-directorate head at the BKPK state comptroller.
SKKMigas is currently led by acting Chairman J. Widjonarko after then chairman Rudi Rubiandini was put behind bars for corruption.
