Amman Mineral director resigns

Copper and gold miner PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (IDX: AMMN) said director Irwin Ka Pui Wan has submitted his resignation, with shareholders set to decide on the matter at the company’s annual general meeting this week.
The company said in a disclosure to the Financial Services Authority and the Indonesia Stock Exchange that it received Irwin’s formal resignation notice on May 14.
Irwin has served as a director of AMMAN since February 2021 and joined the company in 2016, where he played a key role in the company’s operational and cultural transformation during a period of ownership transition.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the mining, engineering and earthworks sectors. Before joining AMMAN, he held senior management positions at Leighton Contractors, now part of Thiess, and worked as a lead advisor for the HKND Group on the Nicaragua Grand Canal project, one of the world’s largest proposed infrastructure and earthworks developments at the time.
Irwin also served as project director and head of mining for ASX-listed Hunnu Coal Ltd and Thai energy company Banpu, overseeing coking coal operations in Mongolia.
AMMN is an Indonesian mining holding company with copper and gold assets operated through subsidiary PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara.
